Canyons West Guide Service is a registered, full service guide company located in Elko, Nevada.  My Nevada Guide License Number is 25847.  We are also BLM permitted statewide in Nevada.  We are located in northeast Nevada, 15 miles from the City of Elko. Northeast Nevada is high desert country with elevations as low as 4500 ft. in some valleys to 11,000 ft. peaks. Anywhere from rolling pinion/ juniper hills and sagebrush to steep high mountain terrain. Wide diurnal temperature ranges can sometimes bring freezing nighttime temperatures accompanied by t-shirt weather during the day during big game seasons. However there is a wide variable in weather situations. Winters are fairly severe so come prepared!
